TAISETSU Archives
We will preserve your memories as records.
We are promoting activities, spearheaded by interns,
under the slogan "TAISETSU" from Kyoto.
About the word 'TAISETSU'
The Japanese word "大切にする(TAISETSU)". We believe it means to actively cherish and pass on important things to the next generation with intention and feelings.
What we want to preserve are 'someone's memories"
TAISETSU Archives was launched as a graduation project of an intern at the Kyoto-based company 'Izan.' She created a digital album of her beloved grandmother's house, which she had visited many times since childhood. Applying what she learned during the internship, she turned her grandmother's house into a virtual tour with a 3D model.
The principle of TAISETSU Archives is to gradually reach the world
Two years later, the TAISETSU Archives was set in motion.
We welcomed new members and encountered people who wanted to preserve and share their memories.
・Our home where we've lived for many years.
・Historical buildings passed down from our ancestors.
・My first solo exhibition and art shows.
・The old townscapes and landscapes.
・Offices and factories where we've shared joys and sorrows.
・Beloved vehicles we've cherished.
・Shops filled with various heartfelt sentiments.
Using the latest technology to give form to people's emotions. TAISETSU Archivest.
